Ethernet Performance Advance Configuration

Ethernet Performance Advance Configuration

This page lets the user fine tune the ethernet driver operating parameters.

Note: This web page is controlled by the Driver Optimization field in the Ethernet Basic Configuration page. If Driver Optimization is set to Custom, configuration change is allowed on this web page. If Driver Optimization is set to any profile other than Custom, this web page is read-only and no configuration change is allowed.

Parameters

Parameter Description
Number of receive buffers Specifies the number of receive buffers allocated by the NVIDIA Ethernet driver. Receive buffers are memory blocks used to store packets received from the network.
Number of receive descriptors Number of receive buffer descriptors available to the Ethernet hardware. This value determines the number of receive buffers that can be queued for the hardware.
Number of transmit descriptors Number of transmit buffer descriptors available to the Ethernet hardware. This value determines the number of transmit buffers that can be queued for the hardware.
Number of maximum transmit packet software queued This value determines the maximum number of frames that can be queued by the Ethernet driver.
Number of receive packets to process per interrupt Specifies the number of receive packets to process per interrupt.
Number of transmit packets to process per interrupt Specifies the number of transmit packets to process per interrupt.
Interrupt interval Specifies the time (in milliseconds) between hardware interrupts in hardware polling mode.

Buttons
